I'm a full-time wedding and lifestyle photographer in Canada and abroad. I love Alex (my husband), Alder (my son) and Doug (our golden). Nostalgic things, anything retro or vintage, mountains and forests, and maximalist styles are all up my alley. I'm a big extrovert and I'm a type 7 enneagram so I love saying yes to new things. My mission in life is to serve others with joy and love - I do that here by working with awesome people, like you, to create a comfortable space where I can capture your story like the art that it is and help you preserve the best memories.

I'm Kayley, your true north & friendly Canadian photographer.

Front Porch Session – Wrapped Up

Every moment of our session felt so joyful and like that extra happy kind of love where you just can’t stop smiling about it all. Documenting this time, pre-baby, was such a privilege and I hope will serve as […]

Maternity Session in Lethbridge, AB

Tony and Kayla have been married now for just over two and a half sweet years. I had the privilege to attend their wedding back in 2017 and it was nothing less than elegant and one of the best parties. These two ALWAYS know how to plan a good time and are such a fun […]

Couples Session in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta

I went for a walk the other day (prior to all the social distancing and isolation) and I was trying to think over the goals of my photography business. In the past few months of starting out, I’ve found it incredibly challenging to go far without a clear set of established goals and a method […]

Capture the Love, Not the Perfect

When it comes to family photos, the whole premise of them should be to CAPTURE YOUR FAMILY. And my guess is that 10/10 times you’re not all just standing around looking in one direction and smiling with your elbow gently placed on your children’s shoulders (if this is a regular thing for you guys then […]

Making Family Photos an Adventure

Alex and I had been together a year and a half as of Summer 2019 and I was almost positive we were going to be engaged by the Fall. We had talked lots about getting married and I had dropped not-so-subtle hints that I wanted to get engaged in the mountains, I wanted it to […]
