My name is Kayley.
I'm based out of Lethbridge, AB, Canada.
And I have the happiest job because I get to spend the happiest day of your life with you.
But I mean it. Every time I'm asked by folks, what I do, that's my answer and it's true. I've been a big people person ever since I could talk and I've loved taking photos of all the memories since I could figure out a camera with my grubby little kid hands. Now I get to meet and work with the most awesome people on the regular and capture memories for more than just myself. I adore nostalgia and I think I find my inspiration by pursuing that - whether it's photos for my clients or just the memories of my own.
As for the "Kayley" that's not just dancing at your wedding with her gear in hand, I'm a wife to the most wonderful man, named Alex, a dog owner to the world cutest Golden runt, named Doug, and a gal who loves to experience life out and about. Although we live in Alberta, I'm deeply passionate about traveling and British Columbia has always been one of my favourite places to travel and explore - and now I often take my work all the way across to the coast as a Vancouver wedding photographer and I love it! Here are some of my favourite places to enjoy when I'm in the Vancouver/Vancouver Island area are:

DESTINATION WEDDINGS
Although I’m focused in Vancouver, I happily travel for couples who want to continue writing their international love story abroad. I selectively take on 1-2 destination weddings per year - whether you’re getting married in a German Castle, a small town in Italy, or a villa in Mexico, you’ll be able to relive every emotion-filled moment.
With all the aspects that go into planning a destination wedding, you’ll need so much more than just a photographer. Combining my passion for travel and experience as an international wedding photographer, you can be confident that you’ll receive photos that will intentionally tell your unique love story in a way that no one else will.
(Plus, we’ll all have a lot of freaking fun in the process)

We absolutely loved working with Kayley for our wedding and engagement photos. She was so wonderful to work with throughout the whole process - it felt like working with a friend from the very first video call!
She did a ton of work for us on scouting locations, helping us with the wedding day timeline, providing REALLY helpful guides for both the engagement photos and wedding day. Constantly checking in with us to see if there was anything else we needed from her or that should could do to make our day go more smoothly. She also had vendor recommendations for anything we needed and helped us find our videographer who we wouldn't have found on our own (trust me - we did a lot of searching!!)
On the wedding day, she did a great job with prompts and posing during the bridal party and bridal/groom photos. And the rest of the day - in the best way possible - we almost forgot she was there! She was not a distraction or in anyone's way during the ceremony. We had several people comment after seeing the photos, "when was she over there?" "How did she get that angle? She must have been standing right in front of me but I didn't even notice her!"
The photo gallery she delivered was beyond what we ever could have imagined. It captured our day so perfectly! There are so many perfectly timed candids throughout the evening that make it so easy to relive the day as we look through the gallery. Her creativity and style is exactly what we wanted and she delivered big time!!

What are the main locations you travel to for weddings and elopements?
Vancouver, Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island (Victoria, Nanaimo, Tofino), Calgary, Edmonton, Fernie (East Kootenays), Banff, etc.
On average, how much do couples spend on Vancouver wedding photography?
My Vancouver couples average spend is around $6,400. That includes my 8 hour package, GST, and travel.
Are engagement sessions included in your Vancouver wedding packages?
They are not included, but can be added on to your package. Reach out for my pricing guide. Lots of couples plan them as a day (or few days) before or after shoot around their wedding which is a great chance to slow down and take it all in together.
How will we receive our wedding or elopement photos?
I deliver all my galleries on Pic-time where you will be able to view, share online directly, download and save, and even order prints from. My turnaround time is 4-6 weeks for most packages.
What if we're having a destination wedding?
AMAZING! Try to give me as many details as you can about when and where on your inquiry so I can get you a rough quote for travel. I take on 1-2 international destination weddings a year
How does it work for your travel fees & booking?
I book all my own travel to make sure it's booked correctly and to take that stress off your plate. For driving locally, it's $0.68/km. Otherwise I work to find the best option for my flights and I ask for 1-3 nights accomodation/meals depending on the destination
If you are considering hosting your wedding in the Vancouver or Vancouver Island area, all I have to say is you won't regret it. Given Canada's more extreme winter seasons, Vancouver has one of the more temperate climates throughout the year which also means you have more time in the Spring and Fall to host your wedding and still enjoy beautiful weather. Not only that, but the lush colors of the coastal forestry is unmatched. It doesn't matter where you go in Vancouver or on Vancouver Island, the ocean, mountains, and forests are bound to give you the dreamiest locations.
